Group Fitness Classes

Group Fitness

The Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre hosts a wide range of group fitness classes that cater to all fitness and ability levels. Our Centre offers Five Group Fitness spaces:

The Main Studio - A wide and open space featuring timber flooring and mirrored walls. The main studio hosts a variety of classes such as Les Mills and Body Pump, with a capacity of up to 40 participants.

The Cycle Studio - A state of the art cycle studio with advanced features such as special effect lighting and more. This room holds 30 studio bikes.

The Reformer Pilates Room - A dedicated space specifically designed for Reformer Pilates classes. With the ability to provide a full-body workout for beginners and intermediates, our Reformer Pilates Room comprises 12 Reformer Beds.

The Wellness Studio - A peaceful space styled with timber flooring, natural timber panelling and high ceilings. This zen space will allow you to calm and recenter yourself and from your day to day stresses.

The Vault - Located on the gym floor, this space will allow you to take your strength and conditioning to the next level. This space provides personalised and tailored coaching to small groups of 12-15 participants.

You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.

  • Body Balance

    Body Balance

    Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE  is a new generation yoga class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. You can expect to bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves, elements of Tai Chi and Pilates while an inspiring soundtrack plays in the background.

  • Body Pump

    Body Pump

    BODYPUMP is a fast-paced, barbell-based workout that's specifically designed to help you get lean, toned and fit. It uses a combination of motivating music, fantastic instructors and scientifically proven moves to help you achieve these targets more quickly than you would working out on your own.

  • Boxing


    High intensity boxing circuit designed to improve strength and coordination. This workout will be sure to keep your heart rate up.

  • Cycle


    A great cardio workout that will improve your overall fitness and is accesible to all fitness levels.

  • Zumba


    A total dance workout, combining all elements of fitness- cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

  • Chair Aerobics

    Chair Aerobics

    Chair Aerobics is a functional aerobic workout that is done using a chair to either sit or use for balance. Chair Aerobics is designed to be a challenging workout for everyone that will increase your heart rate, burn calories, and build strength.

  • Body Attack

    Body Attack

    BODYATTACK  is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats.

  • Body Step

    Body Step

    Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP  – a full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs. In a BODYSTEP workout you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs.

  • Barre


    Barre is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training.

  • Pilates


    This mat-based Pilates workout focuses on core strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness. The class will lengthen and strengthen the muscles while giving you a full-body workout.

  • Power


    Strength-based class focusing on traditional strength movements such as squats, deadlifts and press movements.
