Sunshine Leisure Centre
Steam Room:
Full refurbishment of the steam room has been completed!
Sunshine Outdoor Pool Works:
We are currently conducting leak investigations, with future works planned to either repair/replace the pool liner or fully replace the pool shell. Throughout this time you may see contractors in the area however, we are attempting to limit pool downtime as much as possible.
Treadmill Replacement:
We are pleased to announce that all of the treadmills were replaced and upgraded with Life Fitness Treadmills.
Lift:
Works to replace the lift continue. The demolition phase has been completed and we are waiting on the delivery of the new lift. These works are quite significant and will take some time. You will see contractors undertaking work in this time, and a change in the walk way route to the gym. We will do our best to minimise impact to your visit. We appreciate your patience as we work through this.
Painting:
We are contiuing to freshen up the facility with a coat of paint. Change rooms were completed this month with the gym foyer near locker area being the next focus.
Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre
Splash Park and Pool
Partial repairs to the splash park and pool were completed. Additional works to be announced to finalise repairs and maintenance.
New Gym Stretch Area
You might have noticed a new dedicated area on the gym floor for stretching and recovery. This area has been fitted out with mirrors, ballet bars and new lighting.
